Melbourne Art Festival, Inc. Cancels 2027 Festival
· Board vote cites changing art festival dynamics and lack of new volunteer leadership
· Spring Fine Art Auction planned for early 2027
· Future festivals to be reviewed after spring Fine Art Auction
The Board of Directors of the Melbourne Art Festival, Inc. has voted to cancel the 2027 Melbourne Art Festival™ – which would have been the 42nd annual fine art festival. The all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit will instead plan a Fine Art Auction in spring 2027 to raise funds to continue the organization's mission of proving art and art education to Central Florida.
